Phisicochemical
Analysis
In our physicochemical analysis area we offer analyses for a wide range of tests under international norms and standards, among others, we have ENAC accreditations (554/LE1178, 554/LE1453, 285/EI472) and ISO certifications (9001, 14001).
Chemical analysis of food can be approached from two points of view: qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis establishes the chemical identity of the species in the sample. Quantitative analysis of food determines in numerical form the amount of the different components that make up the food.
At Conycal we carry out chemical analysis in the agri-food and environmental sector.
Chemical analysis in food:
The importance of chemical analysis in food does not lie exclusively in knowing the components of the food, but also in the control and quantification of potential chemical contaminants that may be harmful to human health.
We analyse different types of matrixes, among which the following stand out:
- Dairy products: Milk and its derivatives,
- Cereals and their derivatives
- Confectionery,
- Ready meals,
- Baby food,
- Dietetic products,
- Meat products,
- Fishery products,
- Condiments and spices, etc.
The technical advisory services we offer cover various fields such as:
- Shelf-life studies.
- Sensory analysis.
- Identification of applicable legal standards.
- Specific training.
- Evaluation of the declaration of conformity for products in
- contact with food.
- Assessment of labelling compliance in accordance with current regulations.
- Implementation of quality standards (ISO 9000, ISO 22000, IFS, BRC), etc.
- Within our field of activity we also include hygienic-sanitary quality audits, sensory analysis panels and many others.
Chemical analysis in the environmental sector:
- Discharge control
- Water: Drinking water (potable)
- Waste water
- Supply water
- Swimming pool water
- Inland waters and marine environment.
